**Waking Night Support Worker**

**Salary: starting salary £9.90 per hour**

**Hours: You will work on a fortnightly rotation - working 9:45pm to 7:15am 3 nights one week and 4 nights on the opposite week including every other weekend. Contract is for 37.5 hours a week. Initially as part of a 3 month fixed-term contract withthe option to extend.**

Waking Nights Support workers play a key role in ensuring high quality care and support during night hours in accordance with people’s needs.

The duties may include:

- Support with personal care needs and medication.
- Equally this role is about providing emotional reassurance, so our vulnerable people always feel safe.
- You will be required to remain awake and available throughout the night to ensure residents are comfortable and getting a good night's rest ready for their next day.
- Your role will also include keeping the environment clean and organised and completing relevant records for adults with learning disabilities.

It is important that you can demonstrate a flexible approach to work as your shifts will be allocated on a rota basis and will include weekends and bank holidays as required.

The client is a charity providing holistic person centred support for adults with learning disabilities and autism. They support our residents in all aspects of their daily lives, and believe that each person should be appreciated and accepted for theirunique abilities.

About you:
You don’t need any qualifications as a full induction plus professional training will be provided.
