This is an exciting opportunity to join our UK Recruitment Team. We are looking for a Part-time Recruitment Events Assistant who will come in and play the key role within our UK Recruitment and Partnerships Department. You will be working Thursdays and Fridays primarily located at our city campus.

You will provide logístical and organisational support to the UK Recruitment team to deliver recruitment events and activities, both on and off campus. They will take key responsibility for delivering logístical elements of the team’s attendance at national exhibitions (such as UCAS, UK University Search etc.) as well as organising team attendance at Higher Education feeder events for non-account managed feeders.

You will also manage initial enquiries from schools and colleges through our key communication channels, as well as ensuring information updates to the team’s webpages.

You will be required to support across the wider Recruitment and Partnerships team as well as providing support to the Director of UK Recruitment and Partnerships. The post holder will be required on occasion to support recruitment activities on and off campus. This will involve travel away from the University both within the West Midlands region and, occasionally, throughout the UK. It will also require you to occasionally work during the evening and weekends, for example when supporting with Open Days and Applicant Events.

We are seeking to employ an individual with experience of providing logístical organisation to teams. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build effective relationships, and being an ambassador for the university. You will have experience of using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, and demonstrate strong data inputting and accuracy skills.
