At Jewson, Leytonstone we are looking for a customer focused individual to join us as a Yard Operative helping to deliver a great service to our customers. You will be joining a busy branch in which no two days are ever the same.

Jewson is one of more than 30 exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK and we pride ourselves on doing everything we can to understand our Customers needs in order to deliver solutions to save them time, money and hassle. Our colleagues are critical to our customers' success and you will be working with a team that proactively supports them in every way possible. **What we’re looking for**:
Our branches are busy places, with lots going on inside and out, and whilst the exact duties may vary here is a taster of the role.

Greeting customers in the Yard, supporting them to find what they are looking for

Loading and unloading deliveries

Operating manual handling equipment

Keeping the yard clean and tidy

**What you will be doing**:
We are looking for a customer-focused and proactive person who enjoys working as part of a team, you should be happy working both indoors and outdoors with a focus on H&S. No previous experience is required. Just a desire to learn and have a passion to put the customer first.

The role is predominantly based outside, which means you’ll face the cold of winter and the warmth (hopefully) of summer, but we’ll provide you with the things you need to do the job, whatever the weather (Delete if not yard or based outside)
