**HYBRID SEN English Teacher**

**Start - ASAP**

**Working from home /Newham**

The school's aim is to help remove barriers to learning through an individualised response to all pupils' needs. They passionately believe in giving young people every opportunity to learn and succeed in their friendly, supportive school.

The post holder will report to the Newham PRUs SENCO and work together with the Multi-Disciplinary Team.

The school is within walking distance of 2 London Overground Stations, a mainline train Station and is on numerous popular bus routes.

Key skills and experience needed:

- SEN experience is essential, preferably with young people with autism / ASD
- Previous support work within a school or other child related experience
- Ability to work as part of a dynamic and successful SEN and Multi-Disciplinary team.
- Strong behaviour management
- Strong and effective communication skills (written and oral).
- Experience of teaching SEN and proficient with using Google classroom.
- Experience of developing and maintaining positive working relationships with students, staff, parents/carers and partner organisations.
