Cask Kitchen, located in the historical and beautiful Bailgate of Lincoln, is a recently opened bar/restaurant. We are looking for an experienced bartender to work with us on a permanent basis. This will be predominantly evening and weekend work and you must be available to work in the holidays such as Easter, summer and Christmas period.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Your role will also involve engaging with customers, taking orders, and ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for all patrons.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses and utensils
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of guests
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and providing change
- Monitor alcohol consumption of guests to prevent over-intoxication and ensure their well-being
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
- Assist in opening and closing duties, such as setting up the bar area before service begins and cleaning up at the end of the shift

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to provide outstanding customer service
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and procedures
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
