_Are you a caring and dedicated individual with experience working with children with behavioural issues?_

The Supply Room is seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to join a special school in Reading, focusing on Year 6 students. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people and support their learning in a positive environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-to-one support for students with behavioural issues, helping them to engage in their learning and manage their emotions
- Implement behaviour management strategies effectively to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to develop individualized plans for students with behavioural challenges
- Monitor and record student progress and behaviour, communicating effectively with colleagues and parents

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Grade C/4 in GCSE English & Maths
- Previous experience working with children with behavioural issues, preferably in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, empathetic, and able to remain calm under pressure
