Receptionist

Job Title: Receptionist

Hourly rate: £10.60

Five weeks annual leave. Full time 41 hours 15 minutes a week

Job Purpose: To provide excellent service to all patients and visitors during their time at the practice whilst maintaining a confidential and clean environment. This is a busy environment with six clinics running daily Monday to Friday with a high volume of patients attending and telephoning.

Report to: Senior Receptionist
- Main Tasks and Responsibilities:_
- Complete Excel spread sheet for hospital patients
- Arrange follow up appointments as required, monitor failed appointments
- Answer the telephone promptly
- Stock control of sundries and stationary
- Take payments and keep accurate records of finances
- Liase with on and off site laboratory
- Organise prompt posting of mail
- Scanning documents
- Provide administrative support as required by Senior Receptionist
- Attend in-house Safeguarding course and medical emergencies.
- To learn and understand Orthodontic Treatment from Consultation to discharge.
- Experience and skills:_
- Working knowledge and experience of all Microsoft Office Applications
- Good organisational skills
- Excellent communications skills
- Need to prioritise and have good time-management
- Must be able to work to deadlines.
- Pride in work to help us deliver an excellent service.

- Complaints procedure

**Salary**: £10.60 per hour
