Yolk Recruitment is proud to support a leading Law Firm in their search for a talented Legal Cashier. As a Legal Cashier, you will have a critical role in ensuring the efficient financial operations of the firm. This is a fantastic opportunity to work ina fast-paced environment with a team of experienced professionals.

**This is what you'll be doing as a Legal Cashier**:

- Raising client invoices / fee earner billing meetings
- Assisting with Daily bank reconciliations
- Posting Client & office account transactions to our Practice Management System
- Process bank payments (BACS & CHAPS) and transfers between accounts
- Payment of professional disbursements in line with Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Purchase ledger
- posting of invoices and payments in line with terms
- Develop knowledge of VAT regulations
- Assisting with month-end processes
- Liaising with fee earners & support staff
- Ad-hoc duties as required

**The experience you'll bring to the team as a Legal Cashier**:

- Previous legal cashier experience / finance experience in a law firm
- Knowledge of the Solicitors' Accounts Rules to ensure compliance with regulations
- Strong numerical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work well independently and within a team
- Strong IT literacy (Excel, Outlook, etc)
- A desire to learn quickly and work hard in a fast-paced business
- An aptitude for problem-solving (desirable)
- Good time management skills (desirable)
- A positive, can-do attitude (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence (desirable)
