Farm/collection centre Administrator

**Collection Centre**

The employee will be responsible for the management of calves in an out of the collection centre, along with the health and wellbeing of Young stock in the collection centre, with duties including, but not limited to:

- Work closely with their line manager on a day-to-day basis.
- Book transport in and out of the Collection centre
- Update BCMS with calf movements in and out
- Arrange License Applications with APHA for the movement of TB calves from farms
- Upkeep a high standard of work and maintain a clean, tidy working area.
- Select and collect calves within the Buitelaar specification for rearing.
- Update records using farm software package provided
- Complete any other duties as required from time to time.
- Checking, and assisting with weighing, grading and sorting of calves
- Unloading calves from vehicles and loading back onto vehicles for transportation to rearing units.

**Farm**

BCMS Management
- On/off movements
- Death registration
- Selection of passports for orders
- All filing, administration and storage of calf passports

APHA License Applications
- Follow ups
- Amendments
- Ad hoc problems

Internal Stocklist Management
- Implementation and upkeep of stocklist
- Upload intake data
- Record off movements with appliable destination
- Record deaths
- Procedure timeline management
- Management procedure adherence (vaccinations, TB testing, dehorning, castrations.)
- Populate a working diary for farm manager of procedures due for each week of the year relevant to calf intake.

Milk Powder Stock
- Upkeep of weekly Wanstrow milk powder stock take

Cross reference of stock take vs actual stock

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 2 years (preferred)
