**Payroll Clerk | Wrexham | Part Time**/**Full Time | £24,000-£25,000 pro-rata depending on experience**
Our client designs, manufactures and installs all types of structural and secondary steelwork for the construction industry, while still providing a fabrication and maintenance service to local industries.
Your responsibilities will be to keep records of employees’ work hours on a weekly basis so that payroll can be processed correctly and on time. The payroll clerk verifies employees’ time sheets/clock cards and job numbers to make sure they are accurate, then enters the information into a payroll computerised system.
**Are you the right person for the job?**
- Knowledge of payroll processing
- Knowledge of Excel & Word are essential
- Able to use initiative
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow through tasks
- GCSE’s including Maths & English
**What will your role look like?**
- Processing end to end payroll to meet deadlines
- Process starters/leavers
- Prepare and upload related information on spreadsheet/payroll computerised system
- Prepare payroll reports
- Use appropriate discretion in the handling of confidential employee information
- Assist in dealing with employee payroll queries
- Run various payroll reports as and when required
- Calculate pension payments and reconcile them with reports
- Send weekly RTI Reports2
