Bartender/server

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and creating a memorable experience. **Responsibilities**:

- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders and serve beverages promptly
- Prepare and mix cocktails according to recipes or customer preferences
- Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Maintain knowledge of current drink offerings and promotions
- Provide recommendations on food and drink pairings
- Monitor customer alcohol consumption and prevent over-intoxication
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Bodega Christchurch, are looking for **Experienced and motivated** bar team members to join our hard working and enthusiastic team.

We have full time & part time positions available. Being in the hospitality industry evenings and weekends are a must but will not always be the case.

hours: 30 - 42 per week
