Our client, a well-established hotel and restaurant in Ramsgate, is looking to recruit an experienced Sous Chef. They are looking for a passionate chef to cook and present beautiful dishes for hotel and restaurant guests and private functions such as weddings.

This is a full-time position working five out of seven days per week.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- To cook to a high standard
- To work with the Head Chef to train other members of staff
- To step up in the absence of the Head Chef
- Assist with menu planning
- To help with ordering and stock take
- Maintain a safe working environment

**Personal specification**:

- Experience of working at a Sous Chef level
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience of cooking a variety of cuisine
- Event catering would be advantageous
