NURSING ASSOCIATE - BAND 4 - ST MARY'S HOSPITAL
Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CFT) are excited to offer an opportunity for a qualified Nursing Associate on the Isles of Scilly at St Mary's Community Hospital.
You should possess commitment to team working and innovative delivery of excellent standards of care. You will need to be able to demonstrate a real enthusiasm for nursing as well as a desire for on-going professional development.
St Mary’s Hospital is a site set on an island, which provides community hospital services for the local population. The community hospital service has a total of 10 inpatient beds. It also has a Minor Injuries Department, an X-Ray facility, Outpatient treatment facilities, a Dental Department, a Therapy Department and is supported by a busy Primary Care Service and Nursing Home on the island.
An Island Living Allowance of 5% of the salary will be paid to any successful applicant resident on the island.
**Main duties of the job**:
The role of the Nursing Associate is to work with the Registered Nurses and other members of the multi professional team, providing and monitoring care and contributing to the ongoing assessment, as agreed with supervising clinician(s) and in line with the service pathways. They will monitor the
condition and health needs of people within their care on a continual basis in partnership with the multi professional team.
