**Job Overview**:

- Apprentice painter & decorator, learning all aspects of painting and decorating. This will include 20 weeks at College for your 1st yr, then 10 weeks at college for the 2nd yr. of the 4 year apprenticeship.
- This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for this position and the range of duties undertaken. Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder throughout the period of employment. The job description may be varied from time to time by the Company to reflect changes in the post holder's role and/or the needs of the business.

**Main Duties**
- To carry out internal and external painting and decorating requirements as instructed by management
- To carry out preparation works to walls to make good ready for decoration.
- Minor repairs to surfaces and structures prior to decorating/painting.

**What we are looking for**:

- Must be self-motivated and be a team player.
- Should have a “Can Do” approach and portray a positive attitude
- Must have good customer service skills
- You will be required to attend College
- You will be working towards a recognised qualification in Painting & Decorating
