Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Marketing Executive for a major Freight Forwarder based in the Heathrow area.

The Marketing function is a key contributing driver of our growth. The purpose of the role is to help win, retain, and develop profitable clients, support internal communication to our people, communicate our brand and values internally and externally in a positive light and promote as an employer of choice.

Working within the Sales Support team, the Marketing Executive contributes to ensuring business objectives are achieved through communication that should generate knowledge, interest, understanding and confidence in our brand, strategies, people and operations. This should be achieved by proactively collecting and sharing business stories, strategies and market information via social media and assisting with lead generation. In addition, you should be seeking out opportunities to market positively through relevant trade shows, industry awards or internal activities. This role is also responsible for internal and external Event Management, Merchandising and ensuring compliance with Global Marketing Guidelines
- **_Campaign Tracking_**
- Develop and lead a Social Media strategy in line with our Regional European and Global Marketing guidelines, including LinkedIn, Instagram and Tik-Tok adverts and posts,
- Drive and support targeted industry verticals for UK sales growth, specifically in Pharmaceutical, Retail, Publishing, and other developing verticals
- Ensure external communications follow corporate, legal, and brand guidelines.
- **_Brand Management _**
- Improve Brand Recognition in targeted verticals and geographics (UK domestic / Trade Lanes)
- Link branding to our 3P strategy of People, Planet and Patrons
- Internal marketing of Business Temple, Mission Vision Values, Golden Rules, Leadership Principles and Strategic Initiatives to support our global strategy of achieving “Ambition 27”
- Manage the ordering, printing, mailing and inventory of branded materials, maintaining integrity of the brand and effective cost control
- **_Event Management _**
- Arrange internal and external events, including National Conferences and Exhibitions in collaboration with key stake holders
- Stand Management, supporting materials and related correspondence.
- Manage and update Content Calendar
- **_Product Launches _**
- Support the Sales teams with Lead generation strategies to drive new sales and volume growth
- Use of various software programs such as MS Office, Salesforce (CRM), and E-Marketeer / Pardot to conduct & measure campaigns & communications.
- Assist in completion and gathering of information required for tenders and presentations.
- Support marketing activity in the CRM and other marketing systems
- **_Content Requests_**
- Participate in the annual budget process by creating a marketing budget and plan for the coming year, specifying activities and events.
- Comply with country, region, and global processes to validate and measure spend, ROI, and participation rates related to the budget, campaigns, and events.
- **_Digital Asset Management_**
- Support and management of asset library content (Bizzmine)
- **_Other_**
- To support the business with marketing of other activities such as recruitment marketing
- To actively seek out industry awards and construct entries which may enhance the brand

**Essential Technical experience**:

- University working and thinking level
- Strong organizational & communication skills
- Creative in communications, process, and message delivery
- Experience with social media use for sales and brand development
- Experience in freight forwarding and logistics industry preferred but not necessary
- High level of design and copywriting skill
- Fully PC literate and able to use various platforms & software
- Customer Satisfaction and entrepreneurial mind set
- Fluent in written and spoken English
