- **Mavam provide supported housing to individuals aged 16+ living with complex needs, which may include a learning disability and/or mental health challenges. The focus of our support is to enable users of the service to maximise their potential and to live as independently as possible, whilst helping them to achieve goals which they set for themselves.

Mavam are actively supportive of their employees own personal development by providing key training opportunities. The majority of our management team have been supported throughout their careers to enable them to progress from Support Worker to management and more senior positions

Overview of the Mavam Team Leader role
- Job Title: Mavam Team Leader
- Reporting to: Service Manager
- Location: Combs (Stowmarket)
- Full time - 37.5 Hrs Per week - Predominantly Mon-Fri, but on occasions some flexibility may be required to meet the needs of the service
- £28,978.30 - £31,708.30 OTE Per Annum including one optional sleep-in per week
- £25,720.50 - £28,450.50 Per Annum
- £13.19 - £14.59 Per hour
- Overtime rate - £14.84 - £16.41 Per Hour

**Overall Purpose**
- Ensuring that service users are at the heart of the service.
- To work as part of a team under the direction of the Service Manager, as well as supervising Support Workers.
- To provide leadership to the supported housing support services.
- To maintain support skills at a high level, undertaking training and development as necessary in keeping in line with changing standards and practice.
- To provide support in accordance with legislative requirements, national and locally agreed standards, and best practice.
- To follow and promote organisational policies, procedures, and protocols and to work under the direction of the management team in line with agreed financial plans.
- To supervise the support services within the project in accordance with agreed standards.
- To work in partnership with statutory and non-statutory agencies.
- To carry out regular written supervision and appraisal of team members. To be involved in the disciplinary process of staff when required.
- To develop and support staff to reach their full potential.
- To carry out of hour on call duties in accordance with an agreed rota.
- To ensure, in conjunction with the rest of the management team, that the project is sufficiently staffed to provide a safe and effective support service.
