We are passionate about food and passionate about people, so we run cafés and a catering enterprise which produce delicious homemade food to generate much of our income.

We are looking for another staff member to join our team at Waterloo Park. You will be making and serving delicious drinks. The queues can be long, so remaining calm and in control is important, whilst providing excellent customer service. At times there will be light food preparation - cooking off sausage rolls, cookies and pastries, cutting and presenting the cakes, making ciabattas. Food safety is an important part of the role, taking temperatures, complying with all food safety processes, systems and paperwork. Cleaning is fundamental - sweeping & mopping the floor, cleaning tables, washing up, & emptying the bins.

Ideally you will have experience of making coffees in a busy cafe. Barista skills would be great, but we can train you. This position will see you busy behind the counter serving and interacting with our customers.

Do you have lots of energy? This role will see you taking food indoors and out, clearing and cleaning tables ready for the next customer.

You will need to be flexible with the days you work dependent on operational need and you will definitely need to work at least 1 day at the weekend

Waterloo Park is a dog-friendly café, so if you are allergic to or nervous around dogs, this probably won't be the job for you.
