Due to continued growth in all sectors, Oakbrook Services Ltd are looking for new team members to join our Arboricultural and Grounds Maintenance teams on Highways works. This position will include a mix of day's, night's and working away. Accommodation and subsistence will be provided.

We are looking for professional, enthusiastic and driven experienced Arborists/Forestry machine operator (both climbing and ground) to join our highways teams. Reporting to the Arboricultural Highways Manager, you will be expected to:

- Practice high standards of health and safety for yourself, colleagues and the public are paramount whilst working with us.
- Follow our organisational procedures and policies to ensure proper conduct throughout the company.
- Be motivated to progress with Arboriculture and practice new industry standards as they are available.
- Work well within a team, respecting your colleagues and being a team-player.
- Provide exceptional customer service, looking professional at all times and upholding company standards.
- Daily equipment and PPE checks to ensure works can be carried out safely and to the best standard.
- Be aware of the environmental impact for all works carried out.

**It is essential that you have**:

- A full UK driving licence
- First Aid at Work + F
- A minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience
- Chipper (NPTC or LANTRA)
- NTPC CS30/31 or equivalent

**It would also be great if you have**:

- NPTC CS32, CS38, CS39 or equivalent
- SSSTS
- A current CSCS card
- NPTC CS41 or equivalent
- CPCS/NPORS 360 excavator qualifications
- IOSH Managing Safely
- CDM Awareness
- B+E towing
- PA1/PA6aw
- CAT & GENNY underground services training
- Brushcutter
- Working with Robo flails and other plant like mini diggers with tree shears.

Although there are pre-requisites to this position, we always look to develop our team members through Personal Development Plans to ensure our company is at the forefront of Arboricultural Practice.

**Additional notes**:

- To follow CDM guidelines and procedures.
- Follow drawings to deliver projects as experience develops
- Carry out site activities to project deadlines and in line with the project method statements and risk assessments (CPP's & RAMS)
- To operate plant and machinery in a safe, controlled manner
- Be professional in approach to clients/customers in discussion, communications, working with others and appearance
- Carry out site activities to the programme/deadlines
- Comply with the requirements of the company's Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management system by compiling, handling and communicating the required information
- Report any Health & Safety concerns
- To work as part of a team or by yourself and be willing to work away from home when required
- There is a chance that work may involve working with children and vulnerable adults
- Applicants will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS background check

**Salary**: £12.00-£18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift

Work Location: One location
