**What you'll do**:

- To provide advice on corporate and commercial legal issues affecting the business and to provide solutions which enable the business to operate lawfully. To draft and review various legal agreements (including in relation to project work as set out below),and provide advice, in order to meet business objectives including (but not limited to) non-disclosure agreements, intra group services agreements, outsourcing agreements, supplier agreements, data protection provisions and marketing/distribution agreements.
- To support project work, which might involve corporate restructurings or corporate transactions (including M&A)
- To assist the Lead Counsel with management of relationships with external lawyers and, in particular, manage their expectations appropriately in respect of fees and quality of work.
- To explain new legal developments to both the wider legal team and the business.

**What you'll be accountable for**:

- Decision making responsibility and full accountability for provision of legal advice to the business. Where escalation of own or business queries is required, escalation to Lead Counsel or Deputy General Counsel as required.
- Day to day responsibility for own tasks with checking of work Lead Counsel where required
- Leading on certain project work as set out in section 3 above.

**What you'll bring to the role**:

- Circa 0-4 years PQE
- Strong legal drafting skills
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- Robust, personable and takes a pro-active approach to learning and development
- Ability to process complex information quickly
