Based just outside of North Berwick, we are a charity providing respite holidays for adults with neurological conditions and you could be part of our Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy team.

**Main purpose of the role**

To be part of the Therapy team; assisting with the provision of physiotherapy and occupational therapy for guests under the direction of the Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist, in accordance with individual treatment plans and nursing care plans.

To assist guests to attend physiotherapy and occupational therapy sessions

To provide group sessions under the direction of the physiotherapist and occupational therapist.

To ensure that the Therapy gym is kept clean and tidy and to help maintain Therapy equipment in safe working order.

Contribute towards the friendly and pleasant atmosphere enjoyed by guests and visitors.

**Requirements**:

- Right to work in the UK (essential)
- Literacy and numeracy skills (essential)
- Completion of a satisfactory Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check (essential)
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (Preferred due to our remote location)
- Experience working in a physiotherapy or occupational therapy environment would be advantageous
- Good communication skills
- Caring and compassionate
- Positive, professional, can-do attitude

**Hours**
- 42 hours per fortnight

**Salary and benefits**
- Excellent salary of £12.51 per hour (rising to £13.00 from 1st April 2024)
- Guarantee of every other weekend off (Fri 1pm finish)
