We are recruiting for the key role of Supplier Management Specialist. As a member of the Commercial team reporting into the Commercial Contract Manager, the Supplier Management Specialist is responsible for the commercial contract management of Digital & Technology contracts working with key internal stakeholders to drive our supplier relationships, to ensure that we drive maximum value from our contracts during their lifecycle. They will be responsible for Contractual Governance of key Suppliers, alongside operational leads.

You will play a key role within the Commercial Contract team, commercially managing several key suppliers/contracts. You will take ownership and accountability to generate maximum value from contracts and deliver added-value benefit. You will Identify and understand in life contract requirements and ensure that effective solutions are in place to meet demand.

**Person specification**:

- Degree qualified or significant experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrable commercial acumen.
- Track record of delivering commercial contract reporting.
- Experience of RAID log creation/maintenance.
- Understanding of financial management of contract spend.
- Advanced MS Office suite knowledge, including PowerPoint, Excel and MS Project.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail, both numerical and written.
- Excellent organisational, administrative and planning skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior managers and directors.
