**Role overview**

We are currently looking for a Temporary Production Operative

A temporary position working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week working afternoon shifts 13.45-22.00 Monday to Thursday and 13.45 -20.00 Friday. This role is hands on as part of an established team. Cooking, filling and packing our signature products according to laid out processes and procedures. Appropriate training will given to the successful individual. Entry will be at the Production Operator salary + shift allowance (where applicable)

**Temporary, working 38 hours per week, Monday - Thursday -13.45-22.00 Friday 13.45 -20.00 initially for six months but could be extended further**

**Core Duties**:

- Ensure full compliance with food hygiene and safety standards
- To operate machinery in a safe and competent manner.
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in the production areas.
- To retrieve and weigh ingredients for production batches following Manufacturing Instructions.
- Carry out cooking duties in accordance with Manufacturing Instructions.
- Escalate any issues with Equipment or Process as soon as possible.
- To ensure the accurate processing of company documentation.
- Communicate effectively across a wide range of audiences, clients and industries.

**The Successful Applicant Will Have**:

- Good standard of secondary education, including English & Maths
- Can-do/flexible attitude towards duties.
- Manufacturing industry process and standards.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Ability to work well as part of a team and alone.
- Responsibility of the Health & Safety of self
- Drive and tenacity to offer suggestions for potential improvements or efficiencies within production
- Experience of working in a shift based environment as an operative or similar role
- Ability to work outside of core hours, as required, to meet the demands of the role
