**JOB TITLE**: Mechanical Maintenance Technician

**LOCATION**: Wantage, Oxfordshire

**SALARY**: £25,000 - £35,000

**THE BUSINESS**:
C4S Search are currently working with a client who specialise in world metal packaging technology. The company have been operating for over 130 years and have a client base in over 40 countries.

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will carry out work activities to deliver planned and reactive maintenance facility services.

**THE MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN OPPORTUNITY**:

- Complete scheduled planned maintenance activities, minor repairs and alterations allocated to you, to required standards and within required response times.
- Carry out competent person/authorised person duties for relevant systems.
- Prepare equipment for thorough examination in line with inspection companies schedule, ensuring Plant not available reports are kept to an absolute minimum.
- Carry out mechanical duties, fault finding, repairs and alterations as instructed ensuring systems are safe at all times.
- Annotate drawings for any alterations made to the site services infrastructure.

**YOUR KEY SKILLS**:

- Appropriate technical qualifications such as a City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) in Plumbing or a recognised engineering apprenticeship
- At least two years’ experience in a mechanical installation environment.
- Building services/maintenance experience.
- HVAC experience.
- Experience of working in a busy demand led environment.
