Head Greenkeeper

**We are looking for a keen and dynamic Head Greenkeeper this role will suit a current Head Greenkeeper or an Assistant or Deputy looking to take the next step into Head Greenkeeping.**

We are looking to recruit a qualified Head Greenkeeper to join our team here at Bidford Grange Hotel & Golf course.

Set in 150 acres of delightfully landscaped countryside just outside Stratford-upon-Avon
- Bidford Grange offers 18 tees/9 challenging holes of golf.

The par 72 measures 6,950 yards from the back tees giving a challenge to even the experienced golfer alternatively the middle or front tees will provide a very enjoyable round.

The Golf course was designed by Howard Swan as an inland links course boasting four large lakes and PGA standard greens.

Full time hours including weekends / bank holidays required on a rota basis

**Our Ideal Applicant**:

- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Sports Turf (desirable)
- Must have experience in greenkeeping
- Pesticide PA1/2/6 (desirable)
- Familiar with the use of using and setting up grass machinery
- Chainsaw qualifications (desirable)
- First Aid at Work qualified (desirable)
- To be able to delegate and give instructions to other members of staff
- Must have a passion for greenkeeping
- Reliable and an early riser
- Good standard of spoken and written English
- Smart personal presentation and polite manner
- Team player
- Attention to detail
