**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Working in the global HR team, your role will be to provide best-in-class HR support for our employees and managers on a day-to-day basis. You will often be the first point of contact for employees, particularly in Japan but also across EMEA and the rest of APAC, and therefore the face of the HR team to the business. While the role will focus on HR administration there will be exposure across several strategic HR areas such as Talent, Diversity and Inclusion, Learning and Development and Employee Relations.

In this role your remit will cover EMEA and APAC with a particular emphasis on Japan and you will report to the Head of People Partners for EMEA with close working relationships with the People Partners in APAC. You will also get the opportunity to work closely with colleagues in Total Rewards and Talent Acquisition on a global scale.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Serve as the first level of HR support to all employees and managers across EMEA and APAC regions in the following area: benefits, employee relations, HR policies, and procedures, and company policies for example
- Manage administration for employee benefits and submit payroll details to the Payroll team for EMEA and APAC employees monthly.
- Engage our new hire talent from day 1 with a high-level onboarding experience, ensuring that their first 0-180 days are a positive impactful experience that sets them up for success in their role
- Provide best-in-class service support to employees and managers, including recommending ways to encourage self-service, process improvements, and technology efficiency
- Support managers with appropriate tools and knowledge to effectively manage their people e.g. advise on performance management, absence management, career management policies, and processes
- Work in partnership with the People Partners and Legal team to support employee relations administrative actions such as taking investigative interview notes, administrative support for disciplinary & appeal hearings
- Provide administration and coordination support for our DEI Employee Resource Groups and Corporate Social Responsibility programs as appropriate.
- Responsible for maintaining our Japan intranet pages and providing recommendations on improvements, topical information, and learning touch points.
- Provide administrative and coordination support for our Learning and Development programs, including maintenance of our LMS system.
- Support the rollout of new HR initiatives or programs as required
- Participation in other duties/responsibilities as may be assigned.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES**
- Must have spoken and written fluency in Japanese and English
- Must be customer service oriented as the initial face of HR to employees
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft products
- Ability to work comfortably with different HR software products
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a global and collaborative team environment on-site and remotely

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum 2 years of HR administration experience, ideally within a global company
- English: Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language
- Japanese: Ability to speak, read and comprehend in the Japanese language
- Hands-on experience in the HR function with responsibilities in recruiting, administration, and benefits
- Experience working with HRIS systems
