**The role**:
This is an exciting and varied role in the Faculty of Engineering for someone with a sound working knowledge of coding and computer science concepts. You will join a diverse team of technical specialists that support students and academic staff in the design and delivery of teaching and project work.

**What will you be doing?**:
You will work within the Teaching Technologist team to shape and assist delivery in the way the Engineering Faculty supports students’ project-based learning and their experiences in developing new technologies. You will work in partnership with leading academics to encourage and enable exciting teaching practices. Importantly, the Teaching Technologist will exercise initiative and pragmatism to help bring ambitious ideas to life.

You will support Engineering students’ curricular projects by providing encouragement, technical advice and specialist tooling. This is a demanding and varied role, and day-to-day may include, but not be limited to: advising students with coding, physical computing and project management queries; creating and delivering cutting-edge teaching resources; managing and maintaining specialist project spaces and equipment; working with academics, Professional and Technical Services team members to improve the student experience.

You have a working knowledge of Computer Science, experience in teaching and a passion for developing and influencing the next generation of talent.
