Referrals Officer

We are looking for a motivated, driven and enthusiastic individual to join our Team as a Referrals Officer to effectively manage the administrative function of the Children’s Homes referral process, developing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships with our Local Authority partners.
- **Main Responsibilities**_
- As a Referrals Officer you will oversee, process and action referrals received from Local Authorities.
- Complete all admin tasks of the referrals procedure including provision of expressions of interest to the placement teams
- To monitor and chase all assessment documentation and liaise with the assessing social worker to ensure that the assessment is completed within the statutory guidelines.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with social workers, and other significant service providers
- Work collaboratively with the Business Executive to carefully match young people with our homes according to their needs.
- Use of own initiative to come up with creative solutions is essential for this role and be able to work effectively within a team.
- Have an understanding of a child-centred organisation
- You should be able to evidence your administration skills, ability to follow regulatory policies and processes, and have the ability to work well within a fast paced team.
Good organisational skills
Good communication skills, both spoken and written Willingness to learn and happy to undertake professional training where necessary
Team player
Ability to work on own initiative Organised with the ability to manage numerous tasks
