**Working Pattern: 37 Hours Monday to Friday**
**Location: Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire**
Via is currently looking for a Trainer to join our Training Team based at our Training Centre in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire.
You will operate as part of the Training Team, to deliver high-quality Highways, Construction/ and Health and Safety related training courses and/or apprenticeship provision in line with awarding body and Ofsted guidelines to a range of both internal and external delegates.
**The Job**
Key areas of responsibility will include:
- Deliver a consistent, high-quality training product in accordance with awarding body/Ofsted guidelines.
- Stay abreast of and update training materials in line with any awarding body, health and safety or technological updates on behalf of the training centre.
- Respond to queries in person or over the phone from internal and external customers.
- Plan and prioritise workload to meet operational deadlines and to facilitate training course delivery.
- Assist on the accreditation, development and implementation of new courses and apprenticeships.
- Assist the Lead Trainer in the design and implementation of training delivery resources e.g. PowerPoint presentations, lesson plans.
- Participate in regular standardisation meetings held within the training centre in order to share best practice and be aware of all updates that involve the courses delivered by the training centre.
**The Person**
Mainly you will be excited to be a vital part of our Training Team, but there are just a few other things we’d like from you:
- A minimum of Level 3 Education and Training at or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Must hold the Level 3 Assessing Vocational Achievement, A1 Assessors qualification or equivalent.
- Highways/Construction related qualifications, for example, New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA), Plant Operator Qualifications.
- Institution of Occupational Safety (IOSH) Managing Safely or equivalent level of Health and Safety related qualification.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to adapt style to suit the audience and communicate technical information.
- Must have a willingness to learn and adapt to different training situations this will enable delivery of the training centres courses to continue.
