Personal Assistant for Fun

_*This role is a private arrangement with a family or person who is seeking support for themselves or someone else. Humans Cornwall have a dedicated team to help identify personal assistants; these will be funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment for care and support from Cornwall council.*_

**Location: Fowey**

**22-year-old fun & energetic young man who thrives on positivity and loves swimming & walking, seeks a fun & happy personal assistant who has a great sense of humour. He has a diagnosis of Autism, severe learning disability, sensory processing disorder, language impairment and some challenging behaviours.**

**The role is also on 2:1 support basis, so you will always be working with someone else.**

**Support required**:

- Support with life skills & independence i.e. baking
- Accessing community

**Hourly rate of pay: £10.90**

**Hours per week**:5-10 hours

**Working schedule**:
Tuesday: 10am - 3pm

Thursday (Optional): 10am - 3pm

Hours can be flexible and will be discussed further during the interview stage

**Desirable**:

- Full driving licence due to location
- Training will be provided but a general understanding of autism and associated behaviours would be an advantage

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 5-10 per week
