**Salary - NHS Band 5**

Working as a member of one of the friendly and supportive teams to deliver patient-centered care you will expand your knowledge and experience in a variety of clinical areas including nutrition support, enteral feeding, and gastroenterology. There are opportunities to work in both acute and community settings.

As a **Dietitian** you would:

- Work independently as an autonomous practitioner
- Provide flexible and patient-centered care
- Be responsible for managing a caseload appropriate to Band 5 knowledge, skill, and experience
- You will take responsibility for the management of your own clinical caseload with the opportunity for guidance and supervision appropriate to your experience
- Work flexibly in other clinical areas to support Dietetic service delivery using basic Dietetic core knowledge and skills at Band 5 level
- Work closely with patients, relatives, carers and other healthcare professionals

Qualifications, skills and knowledge needed:

- Ideally be a member of the HCPC professional registered body, or eligible to register with HCPC once you have graduated
- Knowledge of current best practices in Dietetics
- Ability to work single-handed with access to guidance from Dietetic colleagues
- Knowledge of the principles of clinical governance
- Excellent communication skills
