Five Star Holiday Village seeks enthusiastic Maintenance Operative to join a busy team, _focusing on refuse collection and gas bottle deliveries to Holiday Homes across the Village._

We have a fantastic opportunity within the village for a Maintenance Operative based in the Grounds Maintenance department.

The primary purpose of the role is to provide a tidying and maintenance service to the Village grounds, ensuring our guests’ experience is of a 5* standard. The duties are varied and will include tasks such as picking, collection, disposal and recycling of litter, routine health and safety inspection of play areas, the delivery of gas bottles to holiday home owners together with the provision of general maintenance to all areas of the Village.

**The main duties of the role**:

- Maintenance of areas including Outdoor Play Areas, trails, roads, pathways, Adventure Golf, The Island, Flags, signage around the Village, tidy and maintain outdoor furniture in the eateries, tidy leaves in woodland areas.
- Delivery / recycling of gas bottles to Holiday Homes
- Maintenance and cleaning of the Spa Hotel Zen Garden and furniture
- Identify opportunities to improve overall standard of grounds and estate and report any concerns immediately
- Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines when completing tasks
- Empty bins, waste disposal and maintain recycling compliance on the Village
- Provide support to projects and contractors, when required, ensuring Ribby Hall Village standards are maintained
- Gritt areas during winter months to ensure the safety of Ribby Hall guests and colleagues
- Seasonal maintenance including Winter Wonderland and the Treehouse

**Salary**:
£11.50 per hour

**Availability**:
The position offers 36 hours per week over 4 days, Friday to Monday.
