Cove Recruitment have partnered with the Private Health Care Sector and are looking for an On-Site Manager at the SWELOC (Elective Orthopaedic Hospital) in Epsom. Our client has over 200 contracts in 40 NHS Trusts and is a trusted and respected employer.

**The Role**:
As the on-site manager you will be responsible for the overall management of the day-to-day activities and service delivery of our client’s managed service to the Trust. Along with the site coordinators, they will be expected to manage the ordering of consumables, stock levels, stock rotation, managements of suppliers, equipment maintenance, benchmark pricing and negotiation of savings. They will also ultimately deliver the contract KPIs to ensure that procedures are not delayed.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- To manage the onsite coordinators, with support from the RSDM as and when required.
- To ensure that stock is distributed and shelved in a timely manner from delivery for the areas managed by the team.
- To ensure that all purchase orders placed by our client are authorised in accordance with the Trust requirements and that all procedures are adhered to
- To ensure that stock is managed correctly including rotation, expiry monitoring and stock take
- To adhere to the reporting system and processes and the effectively manage any exceptions
- To liaise and communicate effectively with Trust staff at all levels and to be the first line of communication for the resolution of any queries raised by them
- To liaise and effectively communicate all staff and third parties
- To provide support to theatres (pre & post0op) with administration and purchasing
- To conduct and support supplier negotiations and meetings, always ensuring best value for the Trust

**Requirements**:

- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Customer service skills
- Excellent management skills and previous experience of managing a team
- Good knowledge and experience of the preparation and manipulation of data using Excel spreadsheets
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work to tight timescales and extreme deadlines
- Excellent organisation ability

This role requires a large amount of positive and effective interaction with all levels of customers, with people skills and previous people management experience required.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
