The District Nursing Sister / Charge Nurse is responsible and accountable for the delivery of nursing care to a defined caseload by utilising team management and organisational skills. This will include providing leadership, management and clinical supervision to the District Nursing Team. To engage in the assessment of individual, family and community health care needs in partnership with patients. Plan implement and evaluate health care programmes to meet identify need, within available resources referring to team members and other agencies as appropriate.
