We are seeking an experienced Cashier for our busy Yorkshire Building Society Agency based within our Property & Lettings office in Helensburgh.

Previous experience in a similar role is essential including the opening and processing of new accounts, advising customers on the Yorkshire’s products, dealing with customer deposits and withdrawals, daily balancing and banking and completing monthly compliance audits. The role may also involve providing ad hoc assistance to the other departments within the office when required.

This is a full time permanent role Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and 9am to 12 noon on a rota basis 2 Saturdays per month. Training on the Yorkshire’s systems, procedures and products will be provided by Yorkshire Building Society. The successful applicant must have no adverse credit history for this position.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Helensburgh: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

- building society/banking: 1 year (required)
