Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers is seeking an individual to join the finance team of this fast-growing business and contribute to ongoing success.

**The main responsibilities of the role are outlined below**:

- Provide general accounting and admin support
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date financial documents and records
- Preparing bank reconciliations, general ledger postings and reports
- Maintaining & reconciling accounts payable and receivable
- Review and prepare quarterly VAT returns
- Investigate, and understand accounting problems and discrepancies
- Compile monthly reports i.e. management accounts
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
- General ad hoc tasks

- Familiarity with bookkeeping & accounting procedures
- Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports

- Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks
- Data entry and word processing skills
- Positive, friendly and respectful
- Excellent organisational skills
