Dog Walker

Ozzies Fur-Ever Friend's has an exciting opportunity for a Dog Walker and Dog Boarding Assistant to join a pet loving team within the Didsbury, Chorlton and Withington in South Manchester. **This is a Self
- Employed role, must be over 18**

We are a professional pet care service, who believes in putting pets first ensuring we treat them like we would our own.

**Main duties**:

- Transport dogs safety to and from their walks in your own vehicle
- Walk dogs for the duration of 1 hour regardless of weather conditions.
- Carry out dog care routine including wipe paws, towel dry, fill water bowls, replenish food and use doggie coats as and when required
- Actively take photos and videos of dogs for business social media
- Remove and dispose of pet waste
- Options to offer some home boarding for the dogs we walk. The main time are school holidays and weekend.

**Requirements**:

- Physically fit enough to carry out a minimum of two walks of 4 dogs walks per day. This is group dog walks walking 4 dogs at a time off lead, training is provided
- Be strong enough to handle dogs of all sizes
- Hold a Full Driving Licence
- Have your own car (Ideally an estate) your car needs to be able to have crates fitted or a dog Gard in your boot you will need back head rests in your back seat for us to fit any doggie seat belts and covers to protect your car from mud and dirt. Putting your back seat down to make the car bigger is not safe to transport dogs. You will need a car with 5 doors and able to fit 2 dogs in the boot and on the 2 on the back seat.
- Must live in South Manchester
- Have access to a mobile phone and/or navigation system
- Good knowledge of the area
- Undergo training as required
- Complete a DBS check
- Be reliable, flexible, honest
- Working Hours are Mon to Friday between 9:00am to 3:00pm with weekend work avalable
