**Manual Lathe Machinist.**

Within this role you will be part of the workshop team. You will carry out work on a manual lathe & milling to create parts for hygienic pumps. A chance to join a re-emerging British manufacturer of high quality pumps for the pharmaceutical, food & beverage industry.

A full training plan will be issued, performing agreed tasks to meet agreed targets, criteria and deadlines.

Main Duties:

- General machining (centre lathe, milling, drilling, sawing).
- Fitting/assembly, maintenance.
- Your duties may involve CNC operation, metal finishing (grinding and polishing), testing, stores, welding, ground maintenance.
- To learn to adjust machine control, including part process.
- To assist with and learn to post-edit CNC programme to "fine tune" process for optimum performance and as agreed, inspect tools for sharpness and usability, deburr and report concerns to line manager.
- Undertake allocated lathe/milling equipment inspection, maintenance and cleaning (including fluid check etc.).
- Maintain accurate data/records/documentation associated with your work.
- Carry out planned tasks within prescribed time limits in accordance with contract requirements on service and associated systems & contribute towards the efficient running of the team.
- Adhere to all organization policies and procedures.
- To assist with general workshop requirements.

**Salary**: £13.50-£15.00 per year
