**About the Role**:
We are seeking a **Senior Systems Administrator **to join our ICT team. You will be responsible for the administration and general maintenance of Corporate and Client facing Technology Infrastructure, providing 3rd level Infrastructure support to the service desk, and assisting the technology teams to design and deploy high performing technical solutions.

**What will you be involved in**:

- Infrastructure monitoring and maintenance
- Providing Level 2 and 3 support
- Create a positive customer support experience
- Migrate, implement, configure, and deploy Windows and other OS servers and services
- Carry out agreed network maintenance tasks and specified operational configuration of network components
- Establish and diagnose network problems and faults using the required troubleshooting methodology and tools
- Maintains the network support process and checks that all requests for support are dealt with according to agreed procedures
- Uses network management software and tools to collect agreed performance and traffic statistics
- Collaborate with team to identify effective solutions to reoccurring issues
- Creation, modification, and management of KB
- Assisting with the maintenance and management of Technology assets including their acquisition, transfer, and disposal
- Performs regular high-performance, scalable backups and restores on a schedule and monitor backup processes and offsite storage.
- Implements documented configurations for allocation of storage, installation and maintenance of secure storage systems using the agreed operational procedures.
- Identifies operational problems and contributes to their resolution.
- Uses standard management and reporting tools to collect and report on storage utilization, performance, and backup statistics
- Some afterhours work and on call roster

**What we would expect from you**:

- Significant experience in IT engineering, administration, hardware and software management, release management, configuration management, and incident management
- Knowledge of Windows audit policy and ability to manually audit security logs to ensure compliance with security policy
- Extensive knowledge of Office365, Azure, AWS, and other Microsoft products like Azure, Active Directory and Exchange online, Office 365, virtualisation, and cloud solutions
- Experience in desktop hardware configuring and troubleshooting
- Experience in Microsoft ISA Server, Microsoft SQL Server, WVD
- Experience in liaising with 3rd party vendors for fault logging and tracking
- Strong working knowledge of ticketing systems, SLAs & Priority Incident Management
- Availability for afterhours work and on call roster
- Australian Citizenship or permanent residency
