Expect fresh seasonal produce, high class pub grub comforts alongside refined plates for the restaurant, many coming from the Robata Grill, cracking wine list, extensive spirits and local ales.

With a new interior sympathetically designed showcasing original features, The Spotted Dog offers a superb bar space for eating and drinking flowing into the restaurant area and semi private room. Alongside the main bar sits a separate private function area seating 55 covers.

We are looking for a passionate, hungry and dedicated experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join the team at the beginning of a special journey. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running and Supervising of the Restaurant, motivating staff, helping to create and maintain our high service and product quality standards. This is a brilliant opportunity for a person who wants to have a real impact on an exciting new venture.

Main Responsibilities will include:

- Create a welcoming, environment for customers
- Be involved in the induction and ongoing training of all front of house staff
- Ensuring consistent high quality service is met throughout the business
- Someone who creates a positive work environment for staff, in particular junior staff and encourages their career development
- Running shifts
- Encourage a “customer first” culture within the team
- Work closely with the Saltfish team to deliver the highest possible standard and most efficient service to the customer.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £9.50-£11.50 per hour

- 10 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Darlington: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Supervising experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
