Connect Appointments seeks a **CNC Machinist/Setter** to join our client's team in **Prestwick, South Ayrshire.**

They're on the lookout for talented individuals to join their team, and Connect Appointments seeks to connect them with experienced and motivated individuals.

The** ideal CNC Machinist/Setter** will be:

- Experienced from working in a similar role
- Motivated and able to work from your own initiative

As** CNC Machinist/Setter, **your responsibilities will include:

- Independent set up, fixturing, operation, and troubleshooting on VMC
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, or sample parts to determine the sequence of operations and set up requirements
- Conducting dimensional FAI using calipers, gauges, and micrometres
- Working directly with team members to solve problems quickly and efficiently
- Liaising with design to prioritise tasks and optimising work output within time constraints
- Providing mentorship to junior machinists and operators
- Adhering to company and departmental policies, procedures, and standards

**Compensation**

**Pay rate**:£15 per hour

**Schedule**:Monday - Friday working hours
