Senior Lighting Artist - 14757

Our client is on the lookout for an experienced Senior Lighting Artist to join a passionate and growing gaming studio. This full-time Senior Lighting Artist hybrid role is based in Oxford and offers a favourable salary and benefits.

As a Senior Lighting Artist, you will work on several thrilling new titles in development, including, a strategic shooter, a post-apocalyptic survival-action game and a dark sci-fi shooter. You'll be in charge of creating awe-inspiring sunsets, warm glows radiating from cosy fireplaces, lonely lamp posts flickering in the rain and hypnotic god rays dappled through forests.

If you were already working there last week, here are some of the things you would be doing:

- Generate high-end and effective lighting for each game universe you will be working in, fulfilling the art and design requirements for each project
- Collaborate with Artists and Programmers to maximise the lighting element of each project.
- A proactive, can-do approach to day-to-day work
- To excel working by yourself as much as you do as part of a team
- Experience with PBR shading
- To regularly look to push artistic boundaries and present creative ideas
- A great understanding of industry tools and rendering engines
