As a Finance Administrator, you will utilise your skill set within a healthcare environment as you turn your hand to everything finance admin-related, including assisting with the management of petty cash, dealing with payroll enquiries, helping with the management of the purchase order processing system and much more

As a Finance Administrator, you will be the go-to person in ensuring all purchase invoices are paid on time and will liaise with suppliers and heads of departments regarding invoice queries and authorisations.

You will be trained to use a range of finance systems, including Temployer and Quinyx, this will see you input/amend employee details on the Quinyx Payroll and you oversee salaries, overtime, bank and special duty pay.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Management of Patient Monies system, including any DWP benefit claims as appropriate
- Management of Petty Cash within the Finance Office and also throughout the hospital
- Purchase Order Processing - WAP/Ordering of Goods and Services
- To assist in maintaining Head Office Purchase Ledger Spreadsheet including dealing with any ad-hoc queries
- Ensure compliance with all Finance Policies & Procedures
- Liaise with all disciplines and Head Office staff on a regular basis
- Monitor own personal and professional development and seeking regular appraisal and review of performance and progress
- Undertake any other tasks requested that are commensurate with the post
- Training and Development
- Attend mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Experience in a similar role
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- GCSE certificate, Grade C or above in English and Mathematics, or equivalent
- Accuracy, efficiency, timeliness, and diligence are displayed in the accomplishment of all assigned duties with a minimum of direct supervision.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work within defined deadlines
