**Company Profile.**

CP Steel are an established Steel Stockholder and Fabricator providing a first class service to a broad customer base. We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our business.

**The Job.**

You must be flexible in your approach with a “can do” attitude and the ability to manage your time effectively.

Main duties will include:
Transportation
- Machinery maintenance - scheduling - routine and ad-hoc management (including cranes, saw & drill lines, HIABS, lorries and forklifts)
- Breakdown resolution/delivery failure/problem resolution
- Driver hours / taco monitoring
- Working patterns / holiday cover
- Loading lorries for deliveries (supervision)
- Driver compliance - medicals, licence checks, fixed penalties, CPD
- Insurances - ensuring vehicles are added in where required, annual renewals, amendments

Production
- Stock deliveries - checking / booking in
- Consumables - stock checks / ordering
- Allocating stock for orders
- Coordinating orders for production processes (cutting, drilling, picking, loading) - computer based printing process tickets and booking stock in
- Helping with customer collections - loading (use of forklift / side loader)
- Management of staff - sickness, holiday, disciplinary when required

**Skills/Experience.**
- Previous experience of managing staff
- Forklift truck experience is beneficial but not essential
- Training will be given, so you must be willing to be trained on workshop machinery and use of overhead cranes
