Morthyng Group Limited is a registered charity and voluntary sector training provider and a 'not for profit' organisation that has supported the training of young people and adults. They are looking for BTEC Tutor in Birkenhead.

We are seeking an experienced Tutor to work with young people aged 16 - 19 on our study programmes. This is an opportunity to use your skills and experience to work with young people facing some of the greatest challenges. You will have the ability to motivate, engage, and use innovative teaching resources and have a proven track record of working with disadvantaged learners and experience in delivering Pearson BTEC Qualifications.

**Some of the responsibilities will include;**
- Deliver and assess BTEC qualifications
- Identify valid, authentic, reliable, current and sufficient evidence to match the standards of the qualification and judge evidence against national standards to identify the learner’s competence within the learner’s workplace
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of skill areas in terms of legislation, regulations and standards
- Develop the curriculum to meet learner needs
- Source work placements and monitor progress
- Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, developing the curriculum offer, working with small groups and working on a one to one basis
- Any other duties deemed necessary for the role

**What you need**:

- To be able to deliver BTEC qualifications
- Vocational qualification at level 3 or proven experience
- Good presentation, organisational, planning and time management skills
- English & Mathematics Level 2 or above
