Driver/labourer

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate various types of vehicles including vans, lorries, and flatbeds
- Transport goods between warehouses, distribution centres, and customers
- Load and unload cargo following proper safety procedures
- Plan delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

**Skills**:

- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers
- Proficient driving skills with a valid commercial driving license
- Experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment

- Proven experience as a Driver or similar role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends when required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 18 months

Pay: £9.98-£10.24 per hour
