**Virtual Ward Consultant in Respiratory and General Medicine**
This is an exciting time to join the respiratory department at Tameside as we take expand our virtual ward services and continue to improve our clinical model. We also run a Respiratory Improvement Board, where you will be given a lead area for the Virtual Ward Development. Key improvements in the management of COPD across the system have already been recognised at regional level. There are close working relationships with key stakeholders across the system (including our CCG, GPs, NWAS, Breathe Easy, Neighbourhood Teams, Health Innovation Manchester) which is enabling the department to transform the way it delivers care to provide seamless pathways that wrap around our patients allowing them to live long and healthier lives.
