We are looking for an experienced Financial Planner to join our team in our Thornton, Bradford office at an exciting time of growth for the business. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and is excited to do so, bringing their new ideas to the table.

With the current advisory team being at capacity, we are looking for a high-calibre Financial Planner (Chartered or working towards) to join the team and provide comprehensive, holistic financial planning services to new and existing clients to meet their individual needs and circumstances.

You will also inherit an existing client bank and benefit from central client development support, quality administrative and technical paraplanning expertise.

As an integral part of the Liberate Wealth financial planning team based in Thornton, you will be ambitious and excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. The role is a hybrid role, with some time being spent in the office with the wider team but our main focus is that you have the time and scope to focus on managing your clients how you know is best, and we will ensure you have the full support to do that.

**Main Activities (not limited to)**:

- Identify and generate new clients/client opportunities
- Think creatively about client development opportunities and new client leads
- Maintain high standards of information analysis and research to build strong relationships to truly understand client needs and make suitable recommendations
- Deal with new and existing clients, providing appropriate financial advice that is compliant with legislation and FCA rules, being their trusted partner
- Full compliance with FCA and other regulations, FSMA, the Consumer Duty, fair treatment of clients (embracing amongst other things service excellence, suitability of advice and protection of clients’ assets)
- Upholding competent status and continued professional development and standing requirements, identifying new areas of development
- Maintain an awareness of all relevant trends in the private client wealth management sector and financial services as a whole, developing and following through policy changes arising from insights gained
- Develop network with key industry contacts and stakeholders
- Ensure accuracy in using appropriate systems and controls and adhering to KPIs agreed

**Skills and experience**:

- Approved person - CF30
- Ideally Chartered status or working towards - not a must, we offer support for this
- CPD - ongoing
- Strong industry standard systems knowledge and effective usage
- In depth knowledge of pension, investments, trusts and insurance markets and products
- Experience working with tax products
- Strong proven analytical and research skills
- Excellent empathy and ability to engage with others
- Values driven - shared purpose, keen to build and work within a people focused, sustainable organisation
- Numerate, accurate and reliable
- Familiar with, and experienced in, cash flow modelling and verification
- Focused attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication

- Will work autonomously and build team relationships

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £73,000.00 per year
