**Overview**:
CGL Halton is a vibrant service offering a range of psychosocial interventions and support for individuals and families experiencing difficulties with alcohol and substance use.
There is always room for innovation and growth. Our National Psychology Directorate offers a safe space to nourish and support individual authenticity, where autonomy and creativity thrive in the context of an extended family.
**Responsibilities**:
We are looking for a passionate psychological therapist with at least 12 months of relevant post-qualification experience, who would like the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others struggling with substance use.
As part of a local multi-disciplinary team and a national psychology directorate, you will be involved in complementing the Psychosocial Intervention pathway with your highly specialist assessments, formulations and brief psychological therapies (both individual and group).
As part of our wider commitment to supporting and developing our workforce, the post includes sharing your skills, experience and knowledge via training and consultation with recovery coordinators and practitioners with lived experience.
Opportunities for continued professional development will be provided, as well as access to weekly clinical supervision and regular peer support through our wider psychology directorate. You will access funding for your own specialism, whether that’s a particular psychological model or a specific client group. Your hours may be flexible, to support a work/life balance, and your travel between services expensed.
