Pathways is a feature of a 'Good' secondary academy focused on mentoring and development it's pupils talents. As a Pathways Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all care-experienced and disadvantaged young people in your school are supported to find, grow and use their individual talents. You will work collaboratively with other school staff to provide targeted support, interventions, and guidance to maximise their education, employment choices, and life chances outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you must have experience of working with young people, be highly organised, and infectiously ambitious to ensure you achieve with every young person you work with. You will need to be relentlessly driven and passionate about your work. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, as is an unwavering belief in the power of education to change lives.

As a Pathways Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the transformation of the lives of young people in your care. You will need to have excellent mentoring and coaching skills, an ability to inspire and motivate young people, and the ability to work collaboratively with other school staff to create a positive and supportive environment.
