**Title: HGV Driver / LGV Cat C+E (Class 1) Driver**

**Pay rates of the Class 1 HGV Driver**

Days £14.68 days overtime paid after 8 hrs £20.92

nights £ 17.20 over tine paid after 8 hrs £23.44

sat sun rates rates from £ 21.89 to £25.44

**Responsibilities of the Class 1 HGV Driver**
- Operate a class 1 CE vehicle to local and national areas, trailer swaps and trunking work
- Perform complete pre
- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports.
- Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely Interact with dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner and prepare to return home.
- Maintain adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner.
- Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
- complete local and distance trailer swaps and trunking clean work

**Requirements of the Class 1 HGV Driver**
- Class 1 Driver (HGV)
- Class 1 driver experience
- Must have a clean licence
- Verifiable references
- 12months CE driving experience required and no more than 6 points for insurance requirements.
- Must be willing to work various shift patterns inc weekends.
- Rates will increase after 12 weeks.
